For age, I fall into the < 25 bracket.

For income, I fall into the $50k-$75k bracket.

I guess according to my age, I'm doing pretty well. However, according to my income, I'm really far behind. Wow...such a huge difference between the results from Age vs. the results from Income.

I was trying this thing out but I don't quite get what it means.
Juan-
Yah, It doesn't seem to make much sense to me either. For under 25 years old, the median net worth of $400 seems really low. For 25-34 years old, $2125 seems low too. The graphs based on income seem high, but more reasonable than the graphs based on age.
Juan & new2theratrace,
from my perspecive, when you're under 25, you're just getting established. Most likely, you don't have a house, most folks have a big pile of student loans from getting that all important first college degree, you may have decided to splurge on a nicer car then the beater in your college days, and the kids are still a figment of your imagination. ..this is why I believe $400 is actually fairly accurate. As for your income, this does not really doesn't take into account age (or more accurately the stage of your life) It's more of stating if you earned this amount of money (with little to no increase over time) most folks have a networth of XYZ. ...if you don't believe me. enter some funny age but just the real income and see what you get from the same calculator.
